Hi—I'm Christopher, founder of My NYC Painters. We're based in Manhattan and serve Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, Staten Island, plus nearby states such as New Jersey and Connecticut.

I started My NYC Painters to raise the standard for residential and commercial painting in New York; experienced painters with white glove business practices.

Binding Written Estimate— To avoid unexpected price changes, we offer in-home estimates or virtual tours, and then we guarantee the price.
In-house crew only — Your painters are our employees, trained, background-checked, and held accountable for their work. No subcontractors.
Insured & building‑smart — If building management at your NYC CO-OP, condo, or high-rise apartment needs proof of insurance, we serve COI on request with general liability of up to $5M.
Meticulous prep & finish —Great finishes start before the first coat. We cover floors, group and wrap furniture, and mask trim/windows. Then we dust/de‑gloss, patch/caulk, and spot‑prime repairs and stains. We spec the right primer and apply two even finish coats (low/zero‑VOC available). We close with a blue‑tape walkthrough, on‑the‑spot touch‑ups, and a tidy exit (a labeled touch‑up jar on request).

Where We Work.

My NYC Painters serves all of New York, including Queens, Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Staten Island; we're ready to work. We also offer painting services in surrounding states such as Connecticut, New Jersey, and any other state within a 200-mile radius of New York City.

Manhattan.

Co‑ops and condos with tight rules are our everyday: COI, elevator pads, quiet hours, access windows. We protect common areas, keep schedules realistic, and deliver crisp lines through proper prep, the right primer, and two even finish coats.

Brooklyn.

Brownstones and townhomes often need skim coating for flatter walls and careful trim work. We plan for stairwells and taller ceilings and can coordinate multi‑day protection when families remain in place.

Queens.

Mix of condos, single‑family homes, and duplexes. We size crews for efficient full‑home interiors and offer low‑odor/zero‑VOC options for minimal disruption.

The Bronx & Staten Island.

From prewar walk‑ups to newer homes, we handle protection in shared hallways and coordinate access with supers and management.

New Jersey.

High‑rise access windows and service elevators are common—COI is standard. We stage materials efficiently and keep common areas spotless.

Connecticut.

Whole‑home interiors, stairwells, and detailed trim. We can recommend premium systems (e.g., Aura/Advance, Emerald/Duration, or Farrow & Ball) for durable, design‑level results.
